“I strive to deliver inclusive, evidence-based, yet personal care with a deep understanding of the many facets and life experiences that make a whole, individual person.”
Sarah is a board certified Family Nurse Practitioner with a background as a bedside cardiac nurse. Women’s health/OBGYN was a huge pivot from her cardiac background, but her passion for women’s health ignited after giving birth to her son in 2017. Through that experience she gained insight into just how vital it can be to have a provider that listens- for overall health and especially in the postpartum period. Sarah considers herself an intersectional feminist, constantly reevaluating how to include everyone in the conversation. She values the role of guiding female identifying people in their individual healthcare choices, and improving access to these choices. She grew up in a military family, moving across the U.S. and around the world due her fathers position as a fighter pilot in the USAF. She graduated from Auburn University with her bachelor of science in nursing in 2011, and worked as a telemetry nurse for 2 years following graduation. She then found a love of intensive care nursing in the cardiovascular ICU and cared for patients as a CVICU nurse for 8 years. Sarah graduated from her family nurse practitioner program at Texas Tech University with her master of science in nursing in 2021, and has been living in Fort Worth since 2015 with her husband and son.
Sarah has been practicing at FĒNOM since 2021, and works with both Dr. Andrea Palmer and Dr. Catherine Bevan. She delivers a wide range of care to include performing wellness exams, caring for patients with various gynecological problems, participating in obstetrical and postpartum care with Dr. Bevan and Dr. Palmer, and offers pelvic floor therapy services.
